Meet Our Founder
It's time for a fresh perspective.
I started Efros Financial with a vision of a firm that provides small business owners with expertise that goes beyond just closing the books each month.
– A firm that doesn’t just keep your books, but helps you actually understand what your numbers are telling you about your business.
– A firm that doesn’t just file your taxes, but works with you throughout the year to structure your business in a more tax-efficient way.
– A firm that treats your bookkeeping and your tax strategy as connected — not two separate chores handled by two different people who never talk to each other.
This is the foundation Efros Financial was built on, and it’s what drives us today as a firm focused on bookkeeping and tax services for small businesses across all 50 states.
So how did I get here?
After earning my M.B.A. in Professional Accounting from Rutgers Business School, I joined the Investment Management practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
During my time with PwC, I audited a wide range of large mutual funds, hedge funds, employee benefit plans, and private equity funds. My clients included AXA Equitable, JPMorgan, Bank of New York Mellon, Ford Foundation, Franklin Templeton, and Quantum Funds.
I later joined a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm based in Brea, CA, as a Financial Planner/Tax Specialist. My responsibilities at the firm included comprehensive financial planning, investment services, and the completion and review of personal and business income tax returns.
Subsequently, I worked with several LA-based CPA firms as a Tax Manager responsible for preparing hundreds of individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns.
I’ve since taken the knowledge, experience, and skills I gained over more than a decade in public accounting and financial services and channeled them into Efros Financial — a firm built specifically to give small business owners clean, reliable books and a tax strategy that actually fits their business.
As an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I’ve spent years learning how to solve financial problems for clients of all kinds. Today, that experience goes toward helping small businesses stay on top of their bookkeeping and taxes, with tax consultation and financial planning available as additional support when you need it.
